Sprigs Worlds End - Sue Michael
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Gestural drawings were made of the wide variety of wildflowers that grow in the World’s End Conservation’s properties near Burra, in regional South Australia. Using the simple line drawings as a guide, stencils are made from old manilla folders, to make prints of the plants’ shapes on a gelatine plate. Each sprig is approximately 6-11 cm in height, with 2cm being the smallest width. The prints share specks, scraped lines and dappled colour, all signs that the human hand made these prints. Design printed on high quality fabric, please pick your fabric base in the drop-down menu below. Fabric is measured, cut and sold by the metre. Fabric colours may vary from what appears on your screen.you might also like
